Today, I was chasing a vacuum leak, could actually hear it near EGR Valve.

This component seemed to be the problem, the part between the green lines is missing.

I can't find it as a separate part in any parts exploded drawings.

What is this?

What is it's function?

This outlined in red is the part I am trying to identify/source. It is missing the part outlined in green - hose was pointing down - had to rotate it up to see that something was missing.

If you simply Googled the part # you would have found out that it is the EGR valve.

It is the component of the EGR Valve outlined in red and green which I am trying to identify,

It appears to be some kind of vent valve. MB Parts can provide the small molded hose (red box) but not the green-outlined device at it's end.

The reason I am trying to identify it is to make sure that the one on my ML is complete - it appears as if it could have a missing cap.
