BlueTec diesel engines?
is it a new diesel engine replace a current ML320CDi?
I am think to buy a ML320CDi but they have a new engine, then I wait until next year....

2013 650i Coupe, 2010 IS250 AWD, 1999 S500
The 07 ML320 CDI has the same engine as the all the other new diesels for 07', but the change for 2008 will be the addition of the urea (AdBlue) formula which allows the diesels to be compliant in the remaining 5 states in which they aren't sold right now.

Hi,
The current ML 320CDi engine is a V6 (NOT an I6 like E320CDi). So engine in 2008 ML etc. will be same V6 as now but with 'bluetec' system added. So there is NOT another new engine 'coming up'.
MB have only just developed the new V6 diesel so they're hardly likely to have completely revamped it so soon.

Auto, do you have an availability date for that GL diesel?
My dealer hasn't called me to tell me that it's orderable, only that my father has ordered his ML diesel for September build and no GL build for 07 has been entered into Netstar.
