Advice about Weathertech Floor Mats

I'm looking at getting a pair of the WeatherTech floor mats for the front of my ML550. Does anyone have these and can you comment on how well they fit? I'm especially concerned about fitting around the gas pedal correctly and providing good coverage there since that's where my foot usually is! Am I better off with MB OEM All-season mats?

I really like the MB All-Weather floor liners that are on formymercedes.com but it says they fit the GL. Will they fit the ML as well or do they carry ones for the ML?

I have the all-season mats. My dealer threw those in as an extra. I have no complaints. I always find it easier to use the all weather mats that are for the specific cars. Because they always fit perfectly. Ok I do have one complaint...if you wear heals..sometimes it gets stuck. But I am sure you won't be having a problem with that. haha

I have a pair of brown front ones you can have for $10 plus the shipping. They are like new.

I like the cocmats much better; and the MB All Weather Mats don't hold a lot of water/mud/slush/etc.

For the cargo area, the Weathertech is great, btw.

Thanks, but I would prefer black to match my interior. Heck of a deal though! I also already have the MB cargo mat.

I'm not so concerned with ability to hold water or slush. Besides an occasional ski trip, I'm in sunny southern Arizona. But what I do get is a lot of sand, dirt, and hot asphalt. That's why I want something that fits really well and covers a large area.

Jim,
Are they a pain to clean/vacuum? It seems like a lot of fine grit will get trapped in the fibers. Does it really just shake out as their website FAQ suggests? Thanks alot!

Ours are conservative - all black...

Easy to shake out or vacuum - I'm very happy with them. Our vehicle's exterior is Silver and the interior is black.
