has Anyone Swaped the Wood Trim for Aluminum

Has anyone tried to swap the wood paneling on the four doors and center consule for the Aluminum style interior package. If so is it easy?

You have to remove the door panels to gain access to the nuts that hold on the wood.

I´m interested on that too, the centre console of the aluminum package looks more like carbon fibre, just the doors are aluminum look, isn´t it?

Yes....l did this...

l had the Premium package on my 350, with the darker wood.....l purchased it with 30,000 km's on it....l've never liked the wood look....So l changed all 4 doors to the aluminum...just as the appearance package..and yes..the door panels have to be removed....l purchased them from the dealership...and l recently switched the wood centre sections to the carbon graphite , just as the appearance package....l purchased the sport pedals....they look nice...and yes..it also came with the appearance package...l switched over the oval muffler tips to the ML500 square tips, it looks much nicer...lts almost the way l want it....

Is it original mercedes? you have only the doors trim, or the center console with cup holders with that "black carbon" look too?

does anyone have instructions on how to remove the door panel, i need to replace the drivers side piece of wood trim, its cracked for some reason (sll other pieces in the car are fine)

also, if anyone has the piece they want to sell please pm me
