Interior Super White Bulbs

Has anyone replaced all the yellow bulbs inside their truck with super white bulbs? I'm looking for a DIY instructions and what type of bulbs to get. Is there a kit that I can buy. And how do you remove the covers to get to the bulbs?

Thanks

Why not replace them LED's ? The owner's manual has every bulb's specs. For LED arrays, go to : http://superbrightleds.com/

LED's do not make good interior lights. Much too dim to read by or even see things.

Sosh, that used to be the case, but not anymore. Some of the new LED arrays are impressively bright.

Thanks for the info. Is there a special tool to get the light covers removed easily?

I've been doing some homework on the interior LED's and have found there are two basic types. the W164 requires 36mm and for very bright lights go for the high power LED's not the standard LED. They are a bit more costly but you won't be disappointed in their brightness. A search on ebay using high powered festoon LED will find them at a reasonable price.

A regular screw driver will open the covers easy enough
