Michelin OEM tires versus Continental OEM tires
Has anyone switched from their Michelin (17") to the Continental OEM tires? The time is coming up for me and I was wondering if the C's ride or longevity is any worse than the M's. They are significantly less...I just wonder is it a case of "you get what you pay for".
My M's have lasted 23k miles (prob have 5k left) but are starting to lose small chunks out of the center of the threads...wierd. I assume they are probably just old (2.5 years in AZ driving). Thoughts?

I went with the Alenza's as well on a recommendation from Luke at the Tire Rack. I had the stock Continentals and I was very disappointed with them. Only got about 18,000 miles out of them.

I got 30k out of the factory Contis. I now have the Michelins. Ride seems softer and the fuel mileage dropped by a bit. 9k on the tires right now, so I can't say anything to the longevity yet.

Just went through this, and after hearing from a good diverse group, I stayed with the factory Conti's.
Hope this helps.

Vredestein is a very old European manufacturer, been around forever.
From the Netherlands

Nothing to get excited about IMHO unless you have a "classic" and can't get the correct size tire anymore.
Don't think they have ML sizes.
