Automatic folding mirrors

Hi, I was just wondering whether it is possible to install OEM automatic folding mirrors as an after-purchase option. I have an '07 model and would like to install them because of the tight parking space. Thanks in advance.

If you don't have them it means you don't have the memory seat option.

Folding mirrors requires the controller for memory seat option.

thanks for the info - mine have electric seat, but no memory. I've made an enquiry at one of the dealer and the technical service person told me that it's not possible because of the wiring and other technical issues - is this correct? Can I get the memory for the seat and hence the folding side mirrors?

It's easier to trade vehicles.

The guy that specializes in this sort of thing is http://www.mbenznl.nl/

can the FOLDING MIRRORS function be included also in programming memory together with seats and steering memory settings?
I have a folding mirror but I have to manually press the button to fold it?
Thanks

Use your steering wheel mounted buttons to scroll through the settings and enable it.The folding only happens on locking, unlocking the vehicle

I checked on the settings on the steering wheel, and noted there is only one option that is:
“MIRROR SETTING WHEN PARKING” –the
passenger side exterior mirror can be adjusted and
programmed to assist the driver during parking

maneuvers"

I guess such function does not exist on my specific model?
There is small button though to press inorder for the mirrors to fold/unfold.
I was wondering If there is a hidden menu (one of those secret functions)
not written in the Manual that such could be incoprated in the memory settings?

W203 slightly modified
Folding can be added to any car and so can parking assist. It is 10% parts and 90% software activation.

Actually the unfolding happens after a door unlock WHEN the door is actually opened, not when it is unlocked.
