Difference in 2007 and 2008 and ml320 CDI's
Is it my correct understanding that the 2008 ml320's use the new bluetec engine and get worse gas mileage than a 2007 CDI? is there any reason to get a 2008 over a 2007 considering that it gets lower gas mileage, or are there enough new changes made in 2008 to warrant the purchase?

2011 BMW X5d, 2011 Nissan Leaf and Kubota L39 Tractor!
It's the 09 that has the new Bluetec engine. I believe the 07 and 08's are the same.
I have the 09. 6000 trouble free miles so far.

What has changed is the exhaust system, now with urea injection. Could of course be some engine management computer changes to correspond, but mechanically it's the exact same engine.

Don't forget that the '09's also have lovely RunFlat tires, as well as no spare tire.

The good thing about the 07-08 is that you don't have to worry filling it up with glorified **** every once in awhile. Not sure how much it costs, or how long it lasts.

How is it a dumb comment? Where did I say it didn't last as long as an oil change?
I'm simply (lightheartedly ) commenting on the fact that its one more system that needs to be kept up. Personally, I'm happier without the additional worry of Adblue but, to each his own. The '09 model is still a damn fine car.
Sorry to ruffle your panties.
