Sale: Video in Motion for ML/GL/R Class

Video In Motion / DVD Unlock Sale!

Midcity Engineering is running a special promotion on video/DVD unlock interface modules for 09/10 ML, GL, or R Class. (This would be if you have the comand that plays DVD's). The VIM interface is a plug-and-play unit that connects behind the comand radio and allows the passenger to view video aux or DVD source while the vehicle is in motion. The interface is activated and deactivated by pressing a steering wheel button. It comes in a machined aluminum case and uses factory connectors so there is no cutting wires. can be removed easily for lease vehicles. Also it made in the USA!

Video of the VIM in action:

Normally $400.... MBworld member price: $325.00

Pricing is good thru the end of september...

If you have any questions, feel free to call our offices at 312.421.1114 or email us at sales@midcityengineering.com

We have 2 different pieces available for the 05-08 ML: The 08 comand's do not play DVD's but if you have the backup camera feature then we have an interface that will allow a audio/video input to be added to the radio. Normally a slimline DVD player is added in the glovebox and then the DVD can be viewed on the screen and will play through the vehicle speakers. The same can be done with a video ipod.

If you do not have the backup camera option then you can always send your comand in to us and have it modified to add A/V capability which would allow you to have an AV input, backup camera input, or both.

2006 w164 with COMMAND

Hello, can you give a price for this item, including the cost of your conversion (ie the unit shipped to you). Also, will this provide two inputs? 1) b/u camera (auto-switched with reverse in gear) & 2) dvd input.

Thanks.

if you mean you have the camera retrofitted then yes... if you dont have backup cam and want it then we can give you a vim that also programs the camera feature and RSE to the on position.

2009 ML320 Bluetec
Pardon my newbie questions. Is the base ML320 bluetec pre-wired for backup camera? Or I need to route the wire all the way to the head unit? Do I need to ship the head unit to your shop for necessary re-programing for the backup camera function?
Thanks.
