License Plate bulbs issue
Hay guys, I am driving a 11' ML300, W164 it is. While ago, the right license plate bulb burnt out (that is a regular 36mm bulb). So i tried to replace it with an "error warning free" LED. OF course I bought them in pair. Following things happened and I don't know why, Please see if any of you can advise me on this:
Left: regular bulb Right: LED --- got warning message
Left: LED Right: LED --- got warning message
Left: LED Right: regular bulb -- NO WARNING MESSAGE
This is the weird part, why the last combination doesn't get any warning message but others do? How to make it Warning free when using 2 LEDs?
Please advise. Thanks~~

All the LED bulbs will work with '10 and older, will not work with 2011 yr. I ordered a pair from JMD, but it not, got error messages, you have to wait until saler comfim that work on '11 and newer models.

Sorry to revive this thread.
I agree that the issue is with the +09 models. Tried many sets with no success.
Has anyone successfully doing 36mm rear plate LED's that work with 09 and up?

Funnily enough I just replaced my park lights with LED..........NO ERROR message.
Haven't tried license plate globes yet.
But now my Bi-xenons don't work
Might be fuse.............(I hope)

Thanks for the clarification. It's just a gamble honestly with these cars. I knew Aznoptics from my other car's forum, so ill give his set a try I guess.

Any luck with the rear bulbs texasflysuper?
I gave up and went with white standard festoon bulbs.
Not as bright as LED's and even the stock bulbs. But still look better then the stock amber bulbs.
