I screwed up. No crank, no start. Help

I inserted the wrong relay in the SAI position while T/S the P410 code. The relay did spark when I did this. Now the ML350 won't crank or start. All fuses are good, replaced the starter relay, disconnected battery for 20 seconds. Tried another key. All the cluster lights work
I can close and remotely lock and close the car. No luck. Immobilizer symptoms. It won't crank with a jumper btw 5 and 3 on the relay box while the key is inserted first so not to activate the immobilizer. Did I blow the ECU?
Help

What fuse boxes have you checked and how did you test the fuses?

It's a 2008 ML350

I tested all visible fuses in the rear, next to the SAM, Dash and engine compartment. To include the SAM next to the battery. I'm planning on opening that SAM next to the battery and check the internal fuses. I have no comms with the ECU.
I thought I replaced the starter relay. Today I'll replace the correct relay now that I got the correct relay and fuse locations for the W164 variance. I don't think it would help because no comms with the ECU. I really need a electrical wiring diagram bad. Showing the engine fuse / relay box.

I need to find out what fuse I shorted when I mistakenly placed the wrong relay in position G = air suspension compressor. I don't have that option on my vehicle.

Thanks for the response.

Jrosa, I asked one simple question, What fuse boxes have you checked and how did you test the fuses?

I am trying to help you and you didn't answer that question at all. Stop telling me about the wrongly inserted relay and the truck won't start. I know that.

At the Prefuse Box, with the key on, test both contacts at fuse #8 for 12v+.

At the Eng. Comp. Fuse Box, with the key turned to start, (helper needed), test both contacts at fuses 105 & 122 for 12v+.

I checked the fuses for continuity at the rear, dash and engine compartment. I didn't know there are fuses in the pre fuse box. I'll check those out today. Also, I'll follow your instructions to the T.

Thank you for your services and support ,

Confirmed 12v at the pre fuse box. No voltages at the engine compartment box fuses 105 and 122. What's next?

Did you check the fuses with the key turned to start?

Did you remove the fuses to see if they were blown?

Please test those fuses with the key on, not start.

Yeap. Tried it multiple ways. No voltages on those fuses. I'm an engineer with multiple expensive voltmeters. Its tuff to Troubleshoot without a wiring diagram. The horn is not working. Any hints? Fuses are OK like I stated before.

For what reason did you insert the wrong relay?

Is the horn problem because of the wrong insertion or because you were trying to correct the problem?

Cancel what you ordered and order Mitchell Diagrams for your veh. You must have a Personal Computer and you can print out every diag. for every system.

Found the problem. I shorted out the engine compartment fuse / relay box. New one fixed my problem.

So it was just a fuse? Or a messed up box? And what happened to it, short something out and something burns or blows. ?? I'd like more details.

You cannot leave any vehicle idle for a long period of time as all the modules will drain voltage. When that happens and the battery voltage falls below 9.7 v multiple codes will be stored in many modules.

After replacing the battery you must scan for codes in all modules and all those codes must be deleted, if you don't the vehicle will not be able to crank or start the vehicle.

You need a scanner.

When you want to check for codes, click on CHECK FOR CODES ON ALL MODULES.
