I’m about to replace the thermostat in my 08 ML350 and wanted to know if anyone knows the torque specs of the pulley that you take off in fron of the thermostat?

Nm stands for Neuton meters, named after Sir Isaac Neuton.

Look at the PDF I previously posted and I converted Nm to foot pounds.

Major,

What would you consider as initial installation and follow up operations for the guide pulley as stated on the R&I. I just loosened and retightened the bolt on the guide pulley would it be initial or follow up?
Thanks

No. On my ML350 there is a squeaking noise that I'm working to figure out. I changed the v belt a few weeks ago because it was worn out. It got rid of the noise until a few days ago. The noise is back. I tested all the pulleys they're all nice and sound, no wobbling and run quite freely. But I noticed a very tiny wobble on the idler pulley, I loosened the center bolt and retightened it. That's why I thought I torque it the right amount to see what happens.
Here's the squeak in action
