The front turn signals are controlled by the front SAM, connector "C" wire #31 Pink/White.

With the key out of the ignition, test wire for 12v, making sure that it is a Pink/White wire or Pink.

If there is 12v, remove conn. C and check for corrosion.

Post back with results.

I think that I have to remove the passenger seat to reach the SAM
Because there is a black plastic cover to the right of the battery May be the SAM under it

First move the right front passenger seat all the way forward. Then flip down the right rear passenger seat.

Look in your owner's manual for instructions.

Unhappy Front sam removal

W164 2010 ml63-I am having very similar issues and have the same warning lights as well as the indicator light staying on for the passenger side. I didnt think it was the rear sam but cleaned that one first bc it was so easy to access, changed nothing. I am trying to reach the front sam and have removed the front passenger seat and I can see that it is under some sort of plastic cover above the sam but I cannot possibly get the thing out and have removed any bolts that I can see, I saw in another thread someone had to remove part of the pillar???? the heck but I cannot figure this out or find anything showing how its done and I have checked alldata as well. Thank you for any advice.

Despite every bit of research I did, I had to figure it out myself. Yes that is the front sam and in order to remove it-first I took the passenger seat out and the weather strip in the front and rear door. I also took the main battery and aux battery out. I was then able to remove various trim pieces along the floor so I could lift up the carpet. There is a black plastic tray above the sam preventing you from removing it. After you get all of that out and the wires in the way you can remove this cover in my picture above. The front sam was very corroded and it may need reprogramed but I cleaned it as best as I could and put it back in. It did not solve any problems so I figured I would check every single fuse again. There was a bad fuse for the obd port so I replaced it and then I was able to check the codes-there was a ridiculous amount so I cleared them all out and all my problems went away for the most part.
