Water inside bodypanel cant find source

I have a 06 ML350 which when it rains accumulates water inside the passenger doors or front or rear quarter panels im not sure.Nothing comes in the floor and floormats are perfectly dry. I opened the rear computer panel section and no water in there either. I checked forums before and everyone says clean the drain lines. The drain lines have been cleaned and they are find but the water is still sloshing around inside the body panel when i brake or accelerate i can hear it and it annoys me. Can anyone point me to the direction where this water has accumulated so i can get rid of this annoyance?

You must look in the spare tire area, remove everything.

Are you sure? It sounds so much like its coming from inside the doors. I can hear it very clearly from my right side. Although i may be wrong sound does travel from different angles.

So open the doors and get on your back and clear the drain holes.

Are you sure it's not in the battery compartment, under the front passenger seat? You'll have to remove the main battery to see properly.

Are you talking about the one thats under the passenger seat the auxiliary battery which you have to cut open the carpet to access? Water can pool in there too?

The main battery is in that cavity too and lower than the aux. You need to verify and dry out this area before significant damage occurs to electrical components.
