ml320 cdi wont move with out giving gas
722.9 no faults reset all adaptions you put in D or R does not move without giving gas. I tried pushing while in D or R and it moves little then it stops like brakes are applied but in N I can push it and it moves with ease. when I drive it letting off gas vehicle will slow down and stop on its own any ideas??

If it were a brake problem you would not be able to push it in neutral either.
You must scan for codes in the Trans. Cont. Module and the Direct Select Module.

When you scanned, did you scan ALL modules?
How can it be that you can shift it into gear without stepping on the brake and there is NO CODE/s. I'm not doubting your ability but there has to be a code.

There are no codes I got access to any scanner and nothing Resetting every possible module did nothing. It drivers and shift as before no noise no hard shifts. I could maybe record a video I will be dropping oil pan removing valve body cleaning valves see if that does anything. I have never seen anything like this before when you first start the car you need to apply brake in order to shift it in to a gear. But after that you can shift it up and down without depressing brake car stays stationary no movement unless you give it gas.

Sounds like you should first check ATF level.
The trans either does not generate enough oil pressure (ATF level, oil pump failure) or solenoid(s) does not engage.
If possible, raise all wheels off the ground and engage D. If the wheels start to turn, then the solenoid is okay, and there is an issue in oil pressure.

Yes that is what I am planing to is to get it on lift and see what happens. I Honestly doubt wheels will turn seeing how nothing happens when set in any gear. I am in Colorado so I am avoiding working untill weather gets batter. I thank you for your response I will post back when the car goes on lift

Yes I have taken out valve body out cleaned it all solenoids ware dirty. Drains oil out of torque converter which was very dirty replaced filter new fluids reset everything and it works like new.

Was the ATF level low?
One possible culprit that comes to my mind is that there is most likely a spring loaded "waste gate" at the ATF pump which makes a by-pass at higher engine rpm, thereby reducing ATF pressure at high engine rpm.
That by-pass valve may have been stuck open, and hence insufficient ATF pressure at idle.

Level was good at Max line not sure if something was plugged up but I did flush out old oil by unhooking return line. Valve body was dirty and so ware solenoids I cleaned everything by dumping it in bucket of Diesel fluid which turned black after it was done. Just glad pump wasn't damage also oil filter is clean no metal shavings BTW thanks for helping out
