Hi,
On my 2008 ML350, I have the above code. I did the scan because the engine light was on. I have no drivability issue at all, at least none that I can detect.
I need guidance as to what to do to resolve the problem.
Any guidance will be much appreciated.

Your code P0025 refers to Scenario 2 which calls for the replacement of the Camshaft Solenoids in the PDF below.
Post your full vin# in order to determine the correct part number for the solenoids.

That is why I asked for your vin#. Copy of your DATA Card with all options provided.
As per your Engine # (on DATA Card) your veh. falls into the eng. # range in the PDF.
Buy 4 solenoids at the dealer. Do not buy elsewhere.

Out of curiosity, what does the B stand for; and also, I need to change all 4 even when the code is related to only one. Are you saying that the others will soon start having issues so better change them now?

I wondered the same thing about the additional letter after the code and did a quick search.
From what I read at www.obd-codes.com :
A P0025 code refers to the VVT (variable valve timing) or VCT (variable camshaft timing) components and the car's PCM (powertrain control module) or ECM (engine control module). VVT is a technology used in the engine to allow it to get greater power or efficiency at different running points.
In this case, if the cam timing is over-retarded, the engine light will be illluminated and the code will be set. The "B" camshaft is either the exhaust, right, or rear camshaft. Bank 2 is the side of the engine that does not contain cylinder #1. This code is nearly identical to P0022.
From my interpretation of this information it seems to me that the "B" is redundant, seeing as how there is no "P0025 A" possible. I could be mistaken but that's how I understood it. It looks like there is a specific code for each individual camshaft so I really don't understand the purpose of the B, but I figured I would share what I found out. I am researching a very similar condition with my vehicle at this time, so good luck resolving your problem.

I got the solenoids, but before installation, I noticed that with my FOXWELL code reader I can actually test all 4 solenoids at 3000 revs with coolant at operating temperature. Surprisingly, all the test results were within the limits shown on the code reader. How is this justified?

Sad that MB acknowledged the older Camshaft Position Sensors were faulty and yet didn't replace them.
I replaced mine with 4 new ones a few months ago, got em from FCP and they were the correct updated part.
My VIN came up as a later model than those models effected by possibly needing a total rebuild, thankfully.
I noticed an immediate improvement after changing them out.
