ML320 Cdi 4matic's airmatic issues

Hi there everyone, i have the following codes on my 07 ML320 for the airmatic system, the codes are 5508, 5160, 5150 and 5350. When I did the diagnosis, the big 40A fuse in the engine fuse block was blown so on further inspection noticed that the air compressor had burnt it self, so got that and replaced, when the fuse went out the upper control panel stopped working as well as the the lights stay on with the key in ignition even with the rotary light switch turned off, I have checked the rear SAM it is working fine. All the diagnosis was done with a Delphi DS150E vci, don't have access to Star(an independent in INDIA) and have ordered a iCarsoft MBV2.0. Any leads on how to get the system back and working will be helpful, Also attached the fault code scan from the DS150E, it also fails to comunicate with the upper control panel.

Thanks you in Advance

Please take a photo of the fuse box and then indicate the location of the fuse.

It's fuse number 108, from the engine compartment fuse box.

All those codes must be deleted, then take the car for a drive and check for codes again.

Have deleted the codes, but the air comp dosen't come on to send any air to the airbags also the upper control panel dosen't turn on at all. basically i have a ml that is on floor stands as the suspension will not even raise to std height as a matte of fact there is no air pressure at all in the system.

Is the Airmatic system working now?

Did you replace the relay KG?

Why did you order an Overhead Cont. Panel?

The relay works, swapped it with relay I, which is for the starter and it works fine. All the errors on diagnostics now point to no communications with the UCP (N72/1) , even from front SAM, rear SAM, ESP and Rotary switch S1. Now instrument cluster shows DSR inoperative, even with replacing fuse 108, air comp and relay G, when i turn the car to ignition there is just a click fron the pressure reduction valve and then everything seems frozen in time, tomorrow morning i will post pics of the car.

Are you saying that you cannot start the eng.?

What does this mean.......a click fron the pressure reduction valve? Do you have a code number for this valve?

You never answered my question.........can you start the eng.?

I didn't want the part # (although it was helpful), I wanted the stored code # for the problem. Did you scan all modules for codes?

What I don't under stand is you gave me a part #, but what does this have to do with starting or not starting the eng.?

As to answer your question the engine starts, since relay G and I have the same part number I interchanged them and checked, for the file i had attached in the previous post with the scan log from the iCarsoft i have erased all the codes and then ran the scan, still have errors from the UCP not communicating, also traced a rat bite on the wires to the A9/1y1, so even that is sorted. Attached the latest scan log.

@Maj.Dundee
A quick question is now i have the Airmatic malfunction back on the display and also have the DSR inoperative, the car sits like a low rider.
Is there any way i can get to get some air pressure in and get to pump the airbags up and check if the bags or connections are leaking.

Here is the list of all Airmatic codes. If the scanner you are using is not capable of reading these codes, then I cannot help you.

THANKS @Maj. Dundee , with the help of the codes and a c5 I was able to trace the fault to a blown line on the pcb of the Engine compartment fuse and RELAY box F58 supplying voltage on terminal 15 which supplied the switch side of the AIRMatic compressor and also replaced the upper control panel N72/1. now everything works, had some digging to do the calibration, but now everything is working and the ML320 is back on the road..
Another thank you to the wonderful folks here.
