Interior Dome Lights.
I'm looking for advice on how to troubleshoot the interior dome light issue on 08 ML550.
The dome lights on the overhead console, the dome lights on the 2nd row doors and the dome light on the rear gate are not working.
The readings lights are working. SDS shows no faults with overhead console module. Fuse #13 and fuse #41 are good. Any other things to check?

There are two fuses that power up the N70 Overhead Console, $41 & 42..
With the key on. check both contacts on each fuse for 12v.
What does fuse 13 in what fuse box have to do with this?

On F13 I misread upper console as overhead console. Both F41 and F42 showed 13.8v and the fuses are good. Question: would overhead console get opened (disassembled) for sunroof maintenance?

"Sunroof maintenance". I didn't have time to do power steering works so I dropped off the car at the dealer last month. I wonder if they get into the overhead console when they said the sunroof also needed lubrications.

Both 4 and 5 wires are red so I got 0v across them. Between 3 and 4, 5 and 6, 4 and 6, I get 12v.
Anyway, I found and fixed the issue with all 5 ceiling lights. It's too embarrassing to say what they were...
