W164 ... ML 280 4 Matic 2007
no indicators, windscreen wipers, cruise control
Hi,
I've just had a new battery fitted ML280 (W164) yesterday and have lost all use of the left hand stalks on the steering column.... I have no indicators, windscreen wipers, cruise control and there is a loud fan noise coming from the engine bay when the engine is running... any help would be great?

It all depends on how you replaced the battery.

Do you have a scanner to read codes in all modules?

Hi \Bud thanks for the reply, the battery was installed by a major retailer in the UK (Halfords), everything was working fine prior to the battery fit..

Hi, No I don't but the retailer are sending someone out from their claims department to do an independent assessment of if the battery was installed correctly.. would this scanner tell me that?

It is able to read all codes in all modules.
