About Steering Pump A0054662201

Hello,

i have a steering problem since bought a car. i will replace pump but i confused about this situation.

i have 213 parametric steering.

MB epc says if you have 213 you need to use, 0054664201 but also says chassis number starts A53xxxx and after 07/2009year, my vin is A29xxx . and understand i need to use 0054662201 pump. but why they didn't wrote 213 parametric steering.

(also i check 0054664201 pulley is 7pk, 0054662201 is 6pk)

well the true pump is 0054662201 for me right?

Then in all probability you have a problem with the Y10 SPS Solenoid Valve.

You must scan for codes in the ESP-BAS Module WITH A SCANNER, a code reader will not do.

i checked there is no problem. also control it with Xentry, 100ma and 1000ma has difference. 100ma steering can't turn , 1000ma steering ligher than 100ma but still heavy.

I suspect the Steering Pressure Hose because there is noise inside the car when turning the steering wheel. However, when I open the hood, that sound seems to come from the hoses rather than the pump.

So what you are saying is there are no codes in the ESP-BAS module, correct?

Have you scanned for codes in all modules?

What country do you reside in? Please update your profile to include that.

I can't understand why you ignored those codes. Did you research those codes through Xentry, if you have it?

Is Kazakhstan right or left hand drive?

Left hand drive. i didn't remember but xentry didn't have a suggestion for a solution for this two DTC.
ABS, ESP and Cruise control works very good.
Battery voltage is not bad i think. When its very cold outside it's charge will low but there is -20 celcius outside. i think these codes stored and come when battery voltage is low.

I had the same prob. a month ago. Installed a new battery and the problem was gone. If on a very cold day, your batt. is below 11v, you need a new batt.

Code 6001, which is an EVENT code, refers to cir.30 return flow pump N47-5.

After replacing the battery, did the ESP related fault codes (DTC 6001 / 7256) go away or was the steering stiffness problem solved? Do you have a steering stiffness problem month ago?

I do not understand what you are saying. It's cryptic.

My prob. had nothing to do with your problem, it was just a defective battery.

Did you try deleting those 2 codes?

i bought MEYLE Steering Pump and now its better. i can drive car with one hand and also parking with one hand. but i think it still heavier than other cars. or maybe because of SUV (high vehicle) it is heavier then sedan cars.
