Hello guys,
I am new with this forum. Hope everything is good with you.
A quick question. I have about 155k miles on the truck. I believe it's time to check or change transmission fluid for her. But there is no dip stick and no idea how to check or change.
Thanks in advance.
John

There is no “checking” fluid with this transmission.
Change fluid and filter every 40k miles.
Fluid is added via same hole as drain hole. Therefore it is pumped in, and special tools are required. Amount to add is related to temperature. Vehicle must be level.
Oil pan is held on by aluminum bolts that are one time use only. They stretch.

When you do the service, check the bell housing for an inspection hatch. If you have one, 4emove the rubber cover and you might have a drain plug for the torque converter as well. It seems not all models/years have them. Youll get up to 3 more quarts out of it of you do.
