2012 ML350 - Black Sports Interior - Pic's
For anyone interested: Here are actual pictures of the (P95) sports interior with black leather, mb-tex dash, pano roof, antharcite poplar (black) wood and sport steering wheel.
This is essentially the exact interior we have ordered - except we opted for the black headliner.
While I have never seen this interior in person or actual pictures, before today, I ordered this interior build based on opinions and whatever brochure pictures that were available to me.

Nice, really feeling the steering wheel. I know this is slightly off topic, but I am SO glad Merc finally moved the seat adjustment switches to the door on the M class, instead of on the side of the seat...its so much more intuitive on the door.

P95 Sport Interior
Okay, was looking on my phone and couldn't tell. Photos are a little overexposed so it looks gray, but nice detailing. I see it has the MBTex dash, too. Was this a presold one at your dealer? Right now my build date is 5/25, so I wouldn't get it until mid-June. If '13s start production in mid-June as reported elsewhere, I will probably wait for a '13 for the imrpovements and likely other choices.

It's not pre-sold, still available. I'd actually consider it but it's gas and I had my heart set on a diesel. I'm in no rush, so I can wait.
Good heads up on the '13's. Still waiting for my, 'official' build date but it's looking to be sometime in April (with lighting) - just waiting on confirmation of the pano roof availability.

Artico/MBTex, Dinamica & leather
Dinamica is synthetic suede, which is used as center inserts along with Artico/MBTex surrounds as one option with the P95 seats. The photos posted definitely are not of suede insert seats, meaning they must be leather, the only other option. This is the Artico/Dinamica seat, where you can also see the texture of the Artico is different than the leather:

Hey :-) U asked TO(YYZ) for leather pic. But you already saw the pics above so I presumed they were Dinamica. Kind of loose for leather. Like your pic. The B200 turbo had that mixed material in the seat. Actually I'm told ALL mls have a section of leather at the outside bolster in the seat bottom for better wear. Can see a difference in old artico that that section is holding up better. Great heads up thinking

Thinking about ordering the P95 sports interior with black leather, and black headliner, without panoramic sunroof.
Anyone think that I should go with grey headliner instead, in case it may get too dark inside?

Those seats look much more comfortable the seats in the 164's. Are they?You may have posted this in another thread and I missed it.

Sport seat comfrot
They are very comfortable, IMO, but I had the Sport seats in my W164 and I thought them comfortable, as well. They do have adjustable lumbar support, and the headrest angle is adjustable.

Greg...thanks always for you contributions. That sure is a beautiful interior. Wondering about a few things:
Are they basically the same sports seats as used in the ML63?
Are the side bolsters adjustable?
Is the leather better than the standard black leather?
Do you think you'll miss the ventilated seat option (as I don't think you can order both)?

I realize that this is an older thread, but I can't seem to find an answer to a question and I was hoping somebody could help me out with it.
I'm getting ready to order ML350 BT and I'm thinking of getting it with MBTex dash. As far as I understand at that point I can opt to change the interior to "sports" which includes the seats, the steering wheel and the pedals.
I also will be getting P1 package which includes "14-way power driver seat with memory".
By opting in for sports interior do the seats still stay 14-way power? And I assume that they still do carry the memory option. So are they 14-way or something different?

You still get the 14 way adjustable. I have a MY 14 on Oder with the Sport interior. IMO you should order the MB-Tex dash. You will have already paid the special order price if you order the sport interior. Also, order the rear side airbags. For some reason right now, they are free of charge if you are already getting special order items.
