Considering that our suppliers who are dependent upon Japanese sourced products are back to full production the launch of the GL should be just fine. Whats actually funny is that there is a large demand for the single disc COMAND pkgs on the ML so they are releasing a small amount of production, I guess most people do not care for a 6-disc changer after all.

Yeah, right off of the ML - which is a good thing.
The new GL and the GLK have a two bar design in the grill on the front of the truck - As opposed to the ML, which has a three bar grill design.
Anyone know why that is? Nothing important, just curious.

The ML and GL have always had the same interior with only minor tweaks. The 164 GL was differentiated with a standard ARTICO dash and an extra wood trim piece. I imagine the 166 will follow in the same tradition.

X164 had 2 bars, W164 had 3. GLK (pre-facelift) got 2 bars in North America, 3 in Europe (unless it had a sport package).
