I remember someone on this message board saying that they were discontinued because they produce electronic interference with the Comfort Access key. Haven't seen that confirmed anywhere, however.

The heated/cooled cup holders were mentioned on the USAA car buyers information but I called MBNA and was told that they would not be on the 2012's. Nothing was said about the future. I'll bet they turn up some where down the line. I too have a 2013 ML350 on order.

Improved diesel
The diesel will never get better GAS mileage! Seriously, I haven't heard anything about that. Mercedes doesn't make intermediate engine changes too often, especially one year in. Once a new once comes out (2012) it will likely stay the basically the same for a full model run.

Cooking is electronic interference without the paradoxical tone :-) I hav that info from the Can Office. 1 cup coffee 1 cup keys and chain
I believe Europe has them which is odd as they usually get out of the car to drink and eat.
The new GLKs 2Lt diesel is likely 19% better fuel mileage. Just a guess

The cupholder issue is being remedied. They are still available, but not in conjunction with KEYLESS-GO due to interference (not due to "cooking keys"). I imagine you'll see them available with KEYLESS-GO for MY14.

ML250 is apparently not available in North America. (I have driven one and suggest the ML350 is far superior.)
But it does have combined fuel economy of 6.4L/100Km compared with the ML350 at 7.3. This is a variation of 14% but urban or highway may differ by up to 19%

I've been given similar information as my MY12 is estimated to be produced 6/2, was originally 2nd week of May but delayed, rumored to be due to the Lighting Package per one of my previous posts on a different thread.

T minus 8 days! At least if my build date holds up, I am just over a week away from my '12 MLBT being built. Latest call to my SA confirmed that the date is still May 30.

Hey has anyone been told no diesels for US till Oct? This is what your order guide says so I was wondering if dealers
(good ones) are telling you that?
FYI there is another delay on something in Canadas Premium Pkg. Guess Pana Roof? In US its a separate Option has anyone heard what's short now???

Multicontour are now delayed until September production on 550/63 and probably not available at all on 350s.
Huge shortage on 20" AMG wheels.
Pano roof shortage as well.

YYZE55 is a Good SA in Toronto(YYZ) ur SA should know too. Because the MC seats are not in a pkg they are delayed everywhere. There would only be a difference if option is in a pkg. I know some of u yanks are special (WINK) but the rest are Great. My kids are Yanks :-)
