AMG Door Pins. They are almost worth the price.
After a couple 600 mile road trips I could no longer stand the door locks digging into my elbow. So I decided to go with the AMG pins. Not that I remotely care for AMG logo, but its a clean look and they sit flush. So no more funny bone shocks.
5 Minutes, 2 drops of LOCTITE and we are in business for the front doors.

JGC has chrome door pins standard. Maybe for ML350 MY 14?

I agree. I just installed mine after ordering two (for front and rear) and then finding out that this was literally for 2 and not four (I ordered 2 more but they were about $50 each in the end). I wasn't getting poked but they look much better.
In my case, the fronts don't go all the way down (flush) but the rears do. I also had to adjust them so that they are at the same height side to side.
Pricey and I may be one of the few people who notice but it makes me happy.

You don't have to get the AMG pins. You can ask the dealer to order in the pins used in Europe, which sit flush. I know the part number is in a thread somewhere else, just can't seem to locate it!
I do believe they are cheaper (they're plastic) than the AMG pins.

if you use a rubber gripper and turn them in a couple more turns they will sit flush. That was the allure (sitting flush) for me in the first place.

For my R Class I needed 4 of the same pins (same process). Mb sells two versions, twist on and push on. My R used 4 twist one but I found that some models are mixed where the rear are push and the front are twist. Also found that mine twist too far where it's not flush but figured out a way to prevent it from going too far down.
