Placed order Labor day

DW & I went to the local dealer yesterday to compare Arctic White vs Diamond White.
Had not particularly planned on spending much time, but the place was kind of slow & our salesman was very eager to educate us.

First we looked at the 2013 GLK's of which they had a bunch. Took 1 for a test ride. Very impressive vehicle compared to prior years. Quite peppy!

Then we drove the ML350 gasser. NO comparison. Smooth, firm, & exceptionally quite ride. Performance, although not quite as impressive as our current ML550 power wise, was more than acceptable. We decided that a fully optioned 350 would fill our needs very well.

We sat down with the salesman while he researched available built units on the East Coast, and customizable vehicles already in process.
We were able to tweak one scheduled for late Sept production.

Diamond White, Black Tex, p1, heated wheel, lighting package, enhanced ORP with airmatic, parktronic, H/K Logic audio, trailer hitch, running boards, ambient lighting, keyless go, lane tracking, passenger seat pre-wire.

Not sure about the pre-wire option. Salesman tells me I get the passenger seat controls mounted on he door instead of down on the seat with this option. MBUSA is pretty vague about this. My salesman has never done me wrong in the past, so I left that option on.

Hope to see it first week of October!

2013 ML550: Paladium Silver, Brown Satin Ash
Your SA's info about the pre-wiring for rear seat entertainment is dated. That applied only to 2012. For 2013, the passenger front seat control is now a separate option. You should update your build ASAP to include it. But still get the pre- wire. It's good for the resale value at least.

Thanks for the code AZ.

I sent that info to my SA. I sure can't find passenger seat memory & lumbar information anywhere on the MBUSA site.

Good choice! As nice as the new GLK is, the ML is a lot more vehicle for not that much more money. Also consider the SO option of MBTex dash - well worth the money.
