Sorry, I remember I saw it somewhere else that the GL outsold ML in '13.

I kind of thinking it's the opposite.

In retail sales dollars in US market GL/ML's are about tied - in Mercedes US profit dollars GL's are higher.

Internaitonally/non-NorthAmerica - GL's are handily beating ML's on all front because of GL niche as luxury 7-seater...-

Any thoughts / facts on why SL sales are up almost 400%? Seems like huge gains with no wide spread promotional efforts.

It's a heck-of-a-roadster compared to last gen SL and compared to the other $100K+ roadsters out there - cruise missile with most comfortable roadster cabin yet under $160K..
