ML350bluetec long delivery period in Australia
Hi folks, just ordered a few ML350 BlueTec in Sydeny, Australia at March 2013.
recently, the dealer said that the cars would be here late August. just wonder, is this normal case with MB?
Just can not wait for this nice suv.

And yes, that wait is quite normal. I ordered mine last June, was told approx. 4-5 months, but I finally received it in January which was almost 7 months! The best thing about the delay was I ended up with a 2013 model, and it says so on my rego label too. I know you guys up in NSW don't have that info on your labels though.

the down side, MB would sell more if they can improve their production.

They are running at full steam between the ML and GL lines in Alabama...hopefully they will catch up with the demand but it seems that worldwide customers are loving the 166 and its a good problem to have but can be frustrating in other markets where vehicles are typically ordered to the client. Here in the states our inventories are low compared to when we had the 164 due to better overseas sales for the SUV lines.
