Pic request: jack for cars with the sport package and side skirts
No running boards. Did the conversion from running boards to sport side skirts.
Found that I needed new jack point inserts under the car and then my jack wouldn't fit without cutting off a 1 inch nipple that stuck up for that contact point on the jack.

I bought one of these a while ago when I had my W164. Allows you to use any standard floor jack.

It looks like the same part will work for the W166 also, but I haven't tried it.

I also removed my running board but put the standard rocker back on. When I took the running boards off i removed the four jack pad . The pads with the running board are really two pieces snapped together to make the drop lower(thicker) so it will sit below the running boards. I separated the two piece pad and reinstalled the base plate back on the car. One problem I had was I could not screw them back on as they came from the factory. What I did was glue them on, but putting glue on it and the jacking it up with a floor jack and let it set over night to make sure it was firmly attached.
It works great, but I have never used or looked into using the jack that came with the car. I just keep a can or two of sealant to use if I have a flat.
