picking up my 2014 ML BT tomorow! dealer is 700km away!
Well, I finally found a 350ML bluetec to my exact specifications with out having to order it.
Diamond White
Sports Package
BLACK interior
NO aluminum running boards and NO trailer hitch!!!
chilled cup holders, oh yah
only 1 left in Canada and this particular dealer is 700kms from my home.
My Plan is to fly down, dealership is sending me a driver to pick me up at airport.... do the deal, ....and drive back!!

Sounds like a nice combo.
Can you do me a huge favour and post a heap of pics when you pick it up. My wife is very reluctant to go without the running boards, where as I don't want them on at all. If I can show her how good they look without them, might help sway her decision!

I like the hitch aesthetics because it gives it more of a truck look. Plus the extra safety factor. I agree that a hitch will really help at sale especially for a diesel. I don't tow but I use it to attach a bike rack.

The all white look is what I wanted. I didn't like the aluminum running boards because you can get your pants easily dirty on them when you enter/exit the car. There is a bit of a trade off because when you get the AMG package, you get the side skirts, and if you add the running boards, they delete the side skirt and you don't even give you a credit. With the running boards, there is a stripe of black which I didn't want.
No trailer hitch, I like the rear valence clean.
the 700km ride home was great, during the day I was keeping my water bottle cold, and at night, I had my Tim Hortins coffee nice and warm. used 3/4 tank of fuel, and I stll have about a 300km range. not so bad, engine still needs break in I guess.
at the end of the day, I am so happy this car fits in my garage!
here are some pics!
GLK is polar white, my ML is Diamond white

2006 ML 350 sold, 2014 Bluetec "Rudy"
Good luck with yours Manny, 7500 on ours and zero problems or concerns, now that winter diesel is leaving us fuel mileage is going up and a great road trip vehicle, very comfortable!
