Post MY16 GLE product profile

Attached is the MY16 GLE product profile for Canada.

Disappointed that we can't get the TOW Enhanced Towing Package on the 350d, not sure why that is. Also wish we could get the Active Curve System on the non-AMG.

"Scratch resistant paint" and "non-functional twin exhaust pipes", interesting. Also no mention of xenon head lights. Halogen standard and then upgrade straight to LED.

Couple of questions:

The GLE550 mentions fibre optic rear lights but that isn't mentioned on the 350d and 400; does that mean they'll have different rear lights when not equipped with the LED headlamps?

It says the 350d comes with a minispare = no runflats?

No more designo for the non amg vehicles?

I know Canada may have different packages/options than the US, but I see that Panoramic roof comes with the Premium Package, which 99.9% of MB vehicles have. I hate Pano roofs so don't like this idea at all. I know in the US Pano is standard on S Class and a lot of people are complaining about not having a choice.

I completely understand why in Arizona or Florida you might not like the idea of the pano roof, but in Canada I dont think anyone will complain.

Also surprised that no designo package...maybe it will be reintroduced in '17.

Still have no idea why in Canada we don't get the option of a ski pass-through.

The pano roof is one of the best features of the W205 C300 sport loaner I'm driving right now.

Lol, I actually complained about the pano roof quite some while ago.

I prefer the vented shade of the standard sunroof and the ability to tilt the glass panel without opening the shade for ventilation.

No designo leather? That's not good. The designo leather in my 550 MY15 is the best leather I've seen in any brand.
