Dealer car wash - Is it free when you visit?
I have read comments from users saying the dealer provided car wash when there was a visit. Is it a courtesy or are they bound to provide you a free car wash? Are the car washes only for factory warranty vehicles or if you have any service done? If your vehicle is under warranty can you visit at least once a month for a car wash and air pressure check?

The nearest dealer to me is 40 miles away. Although I bought my car at a dealer in the "big city" much farther away, the local dealer will come out and pick up my car for any warranty or service work and leave a loaner. They will return it when finished and washed if I want. I can also bring it in anytime for a wash. However, I do not let anyone but me wash my car so I do not utilize this service.

In the UK the dealer washes the car with every service but dont expect a good job. Your car will end up with swirl marks after a while from the dirty cloths they use. UK dealers also charge more for the service depending on whether you left the car with them and made your own way home, waited for the car and used the customer lounge or had a courtesy car.

When we lived in Sarasota the dealer we bought new from was 2 miles away. My wife got a free car wash anytime she wanted and it was a good wash job too. Now we are 2 hours from a dealer and only had one service done since moving to the mountains, but they did an excellent wash job on it after the service. I think it is entirely up to dealer but so far my experience has been they all do it with a service..

Always free, anytime, at Downtown Los Angeles dealer, if you purchased your vehicle from them. Takes about 45 minutes, but their lounge has a nice TV, comfortable couches, donuts, coffee, bottled water, and wifi.

My dealer in Tucson washes for free whether in for service or just dropping in. Have bought several cars from them, but I think they'll do it for anybody with a Mercedes Benz.

Always free from the purchasing dealer at anytime even without service or without warranty.
They do a better job than all of our hand car wash services out here. Better than other dealers too. BUT it takes them at least 45 mins... so I go across the street and grab a Chipotle yummm....

Naperville Mercedes - always free and the waiting area is very nice with plenty of snacks, comfortable chairs, and the obligatory boob tube. I've been buying cars from them for 15 years and no complaints.

Nice
Sounds like Barnes and Noble with a Starbucks inside. Now all you need is riveting conversation with your mate!

+1 naperville Although, if you want to buy a car/get service, go to St. Charles. Nobody actually told me about the GLE 350 in the naperville dealership and i visited 3 different salepeople. They kept pushing the ml350. the st charles dealer told me about it right off the bat and gave a great discount for pre-ordering.

And they rebuilt the entire facility in the past few years so now they have a complete automated car wash so they wash and vacuum in only 20-30 minutes while I mac on a donut with coffee. Then I grab some free bottles of water and a something from their fruit bowl and get on my way. Great service.

It looks like MB of Burlington (Boston area) seems to wash all the cars after service.
I took my ML350 recently for rear tail gate issue and they washed it after just diagnosing the problem. They didn't actually fix the issue - they had to order the controller, so made an appointment for next week.
