New Mercedes GLE Coupe Tested
The new Mercedes GLE coupe is upon us. Is it a coupe? is it an SUV? Is it any good?

It is probably a pretty cool, good performing car. However, from the profile view in the picture above it looks very much like an old, large mouth bass chugger style top water lure I once owned. It did catch a lot of fish however!!

It is NOT a coupe. A coupe is a TWO door car. Neither is a CLS a coupe. A CL IS a coupe.
I've no idea why anybody would own that car. It's a FAT, dumpy four door sedan.

I like it a lot! It's big, it's imposing, it has great road presence and best of all it's a Mercedes Benz. It's not a wagon either which appeals more to me than to my wife therefore we bought a GLK. But for me I'd like this new "coupe" in AMG trim. They did a better job of integrating the central multimedia screen in vs. the CLA/GLA. The facelift works better on the coupe too than the full on wagon/suv IMO.
Real world might be a tad big so I'm waiting on the GLC coupe version if it ever makes it to market. That'd be the only one I'd trade in my current car for.
MBZ of Honolulu brought this lovely GLC 450 AMG out for Oktoberfest and it drew me in like a laser beam
Bad a##. It sold right after didn't even get a chance at it!

This car is a BEAST in person. I've been lurking and looking for pictures ever since they first announced it.
It is a sexier car than the current X6. it would be best to compare to the first X6 in 2008 which this look more similar.
Saw this at Costco gas station as i was about to finish and man..
I'm pretty sure I will get this in a few years.
