keyless go module

Does anyone know where the keyless go module is located?

I'd like to disable keyless go and keyless entry on my 2015 ML.

I know I can double click the remote it temporarily disables it but to be honest I'd like to remove the feature entirely.

question why do you not like it? i think you can disable it from the settings in the BC (board computer, just move around with the buttons to the settings from the buttons on the steering wheel)

because it is a huge security hole. with $20 anyone can buy stuff to relay the signal from your key inside your home to your car parked on the street and take anything in your car or even drive off in it. I like the ability to lock my car and keep it secure. I don't want to keep track of and cart a faraday bag around everywhere I go. I live in Texas and by law I'm required to keep fire arms secured, just like any Texan who carries.

and it's not accessible in the command controls through the steering wheel or console control.

Just as easy to break a window with a 99¢ hammer. Your overly worried about it, relax and enjoy the conveniences Mercedes has to offer

Except using a hammer attracts a lot of attention and a waste of time if you have tint. I take my safety and the safety of my family seriously.

If you’re really really worried about this.

Switch to using keys that are non keyless go keys and get the dealer to deactivate the ones that are programmed to your car that are keyless go

thats fair, but as an option you can put your keys in like foil that will hinder the signal from going straight to the car. However, if you hate it that much you can have the dealer deactivate it

You have to pull the while center console out.

Similar to attached picture.
