How much air pressure do you lose per month?

None to notice on my ML350 Bluetec......but a lb a day in my CL550's right rear tire. Gotta fix that one rear tire that loses a lb a day. Tired of filling it up every two/three days. No nail to be seen.

Hi,
Yeah I notice around 3 psi loss per month and I was wondering if this was normal? Didn’t notice this much loss on my c class. I don’t know if this much loss is normal,by the way I have Continental all seasons on my w166.

Pressure stays the same no matter how cold or hot is the weather. Love it.

If this 3lb/month is consistent month-to-month - if you haven't had a 30deg temp drop each successive month - and it's more than one tire - then you have a mounting probelm when they put on those tires - or real ****ty valve stems. If it's one tire only - then there is a bald valve stem there - or slow leak in the tire (which can be hard to spot) - or that tire/wheel has poor mounting
Correction - temperature affects tire pressure the SAME for both Air and Nitrofill - about 1deg per 10deg F

Valve stem cores
Just a thought...you may want to check your tire valve stem cores to ensure that they are tight. This is an easy thing to do with a very inexpensive valve stem tool.
I had a similar problem years ago and this was the cause. I keep one of these tools in the glove compartment of each of our vehicles.
Good luck!
