2015 ML 350 - good buy?
I think you can find a better price.
The 2015 model has the M276 3.5L V6 engine and 7G-Tronic transmission, both of which are used today in the GLE350. So there is a certain amount of history and lineage which is good from a repair and spare parts point of view.
After a quick scan through this site on the ML W166 section, I didn't see anything that stands out as a concern, except for Bluetec (diesel) related problems.
Do you research on this site and cargurus, and look for a better price.
Low mileage in most cases indicator of short trips, lover mileages lover shorter trips. If trips are short nothing gets to the normal operation temps: engine, trany .... in this case wear is very very high and must be addressed properly with oil changes every 2-3K tops and maybe with different oil viscosity. Not sure if person who leased the car will worry about and do the right things to the car.
Turbo also effected, this things need very clean oil and proper treatment, no rev engine till its warm but with short trips it newer gets warm enough.
So my stupid questions are: how big is the impact on engine and other moving parts with short trips and Should new buyer be concerned?

I'd take low-mileage unknown usage over high-mileage confirmed highway-use myself. Turbo life is dependant, among other things, on whether or not the driver allows the turbo to spool down for at least 15-30 seconds before shutting the engine. I've yelled/screamed/shouted/threatened the wife many times to wait at least 15 seconds, but it seems that she would self-destruct if she had to do that. On both our X6 and the ML.
I've given up...
