2014 ML350 Can't reset service
Help please, My wife's ML had a service contract that has expired so I was going to take over services. It had a service A9 required. From what I could find it was an oil change. Did the oil change, watched video and read forums on service reset. I can't get it clear. I go to ASSYST PLUS and there is no menu options. It only says "Service A9 Exceeded by xxxx miles". All the videos show a menu that you select Full Service then clear it. So far I've spent 20 minutes to change the oil and hours trying to reset.

You can access the menu by pressing: Phone answer and OK on the steering wheel (for about 4 seconds). You must be on the Odometer screen on the IC and the key should be in the ACC position (for those with Keyless Go, press the button once)

I can push the phone answer and either the left, right or OK while in the trip mode, it goes to a menu. From that Menu I was going to Serv. Then Assyst plus.

Still have not been able to reset this. When I go to ASSYST PLUS and select the display says "service A9 has been exceeded by xx miles" There is not an option past that. I found several procedures online and they all get me to this point. I have an Autel professional scanner that was supposed to work on Mercedes but it said that it wasn't supported on this model. Has anyone used a particular scanner to clear service codes on a 2014 ML? I was reading about Icarsoft but one of the reviews a person said it would not reset his service indicator. Is there something I need to do so get a menu in ASSYST PLUS? All the videos show when you press OK at ASSYST PLUS you get a menu that you can scroll down to FULL SERVICE but I can't get that menu? Any suggestions. The Icarsoft scanners aren't real expensive but I don't want to buy one if it will not work for this.

Close all doors.
Turn key to position 1
Go to trip menu which shows the mileage
Hold end phone call and ok at the same time for 5 seconds.
Move to assyst plus. Compete full service

I finally resolved the issue. You have to have the radio/interface off when you go to position 1. If you turn the key to position 1 and the radio is on, hit the button to turn it off. Turn key off and back to postition 1.
