2015 ML-350 dim headlights?

2015 ML-350 dim headlights?
Hi, we have a 2015 ML-350 and I find the halogen headlights are not very bright especially in the rain. On non rainy nights, the low beams only project out about 15 feet making it very difficult to see the road ahead. I have to constantly have the hi-beams on. Does anyone else have or feel this is an issue? Any suggestions on how to have more light projecting forward from the headlights.?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Go with an HID conversion. Will make a huge difference over crappy halogens. Hit us up over PM or email us directly at aznoptics@gmail.com and we can set you up.

Not sure what you mean? The Morimoto H7 bulbs are H7 bulbs with H7 keys so don't need an H7 adapter. http://www.morimotohid.com/h7-xb-hid.html
Unless you're talking about the bulb retainer. We do include a universal bulb retainer with metal tabs that can be bent to fit any application. Alternatively, it's fairly easy to modify your existing bulb retainer to be reused for aftermarket HID conversion as well. That's what other ML customers have done.
Here are customer pics of our HID kit paired with LED parking lights.

~What is the service life of the bulbs?
~What is the approximate light output?
~What is the return policy in case (god forbid) if they don't work?
~Do you have any solutions for high beams and do you know of any way to replace the incandescent turn signals?
Thank you!

And are there any videos on youtube that show the installation? There's a lot of cross talk about universal vs OEM retainers. Never seen one so would like to get an idea of what that's about. A picture is worth a thousand words. A video is priceless.

2500 hours rated lifespan, 3400 lumen, covered under 5 year warranty. They work as we have these on plenty of MLs. High beams use the same H7 kit. Front signals use a set of 5200 bulbs which we are currently out of stock on unfortunately. Here's install instructions one of our customers recently made. It's on a GLC, but pretty much same process https://imgur.com/gallery/BUbOTVM
Unfortunately not unless you do a full retrofit with xenon projectors.

What are the parts number parking light bulbs (that fit in the high beam housing) and where can I order them on your site? Also, do I have to ground the bulbs (i.e. are these "plug n' play" and if not do you have any that are?) and am I able to fit the ballast in the housing or do I have to run it outside?
Thanks.

[QUOTE=imthatmvrk;8039356]I’m currently doing a full LED swap on my ML550 with standard halogens. Here’s all the bulbs you’ll need.
Thanks.
Two questions....what LED's are you using for the high/low beams? I've tried a few brands and all have been pretty disappointing. Better than stock, but not by much.
Also, I was under the impression that the front turn signals aren't replaceable. How do you access those bulbs?
Best,
J

the ones I have been using on my MB ML350 are made by Oedro. I have been using them for 1.5 years now with out a problem. I install the LED low beams only.

Good luck.

Thanks...I have a few questions if you don't mind:
How is the installation process? Of the three or so bulbs I've tried, none really fit the bracket, even with the H7 adapter attached. Getting them seated properly has been impossible. How do you get them to fit properly? How is the aim and cutoff?
Also, how is the light output versus the stock halogen?
Thanks

OK. The installation is not as easy but not hard. You have to take the tires off and slide off a tray where the lights are on each side.
The daylight running are also LED's and were a bit trickier to installed. The MB desogn to hold those lights is not the best and even the OEM light sit a bit lose on the housing. Maybe you can find LED for the daylight running a bit smaller than what I got, bit for the reason stated before you have to very careful put in them back in the holes. If they pop off they will fall inside the lens and taking them out is a royal pain in the A...s.
(if this happens to you the best way I found to take them out is using a shop vacuum attached to a hose the size of the bulb and sucking that sucker out carefully. Here are some pics:
The first pic is the LED daylight running light. GOOD LUCK!!

I just replaced mine with LED bulbs I bought from Amazon. A decent pair cost about $40-60. Not bad at all and much brighter than the stock halogen. Might not perform as good as the Xenons but saves you a lot of hassle working with Xenon high voltage.

Hey there!! I know this post is super old, but I would like to know how these headlights worked out in your ML. I am going to be purchasing a 2015 ML 350 with the stock Halogens and would like to try and upgrade the headlights. Thanks for your help!

Not OP, and I have since sold my ML, but I ordered a set of LEDs for the high and low beams, along with parking light bulbs. Made a big difference.
You should be able to get the job done without removing the tires, though I agree that actually getting the bulbs into the socket was a giant PITA.
Many bulbs wouldn't seat properly in the sockets - the only ones that had an OEM fit were from Headlight Express - the bulb bases were specially designed to provide a snug fit, and they actually fit really well.

I honestly would just do the high and low beams, unless doing the indicator lights are really worth it

Awesome, thanks for your reply! Any specific bulbs I should be looking for on there or can I just put the specific model in and it will automatically find the bulbs for me.

You can also replace the rear brake bulbs (as I did). The front turn signals are sealed in the housing and are not accessible (I mean, they probably are accessible and might be user serviceable but you'd need to remove the entire headlamp assembly).
