I have a 2013 ML350 Bluetech with 100k miles that is rough idling. I live in Michigan and it started it by only rough idling in cold weather.
Now it rough idles all the time, even in summer. Check engine light is on and this the current active code.
10e300 " The number of combustion misfires at cylinder (0) is too high.
Is this a bad fuel injector ? What should start with?

I think ur injectors are leaking! It happened to my glk250 BlueTEC.
Do you have a good independent mechanic? The injector set are expansive, just the parts alone is 3k usd plus labor, you are probably looking for 3.5 to 4k repair
Could it be glow plugs? Or anything else I can check first before jumping off a cliff... Haha

It shouldn't be your glow plugs unless you have a start up issue.
At this point, i will pay a good mechanic to do a proper diagnosis on whats wrong in your vehicle. Do not go to dealership! Find a good mechanic willing to work with you.
Would cleaning them work? I'll look online to find a video how to do that, is there a video you recommend?
I've always have the impression fuel injectors can be tricky work, but I have removed and put them in a BMW gas
You can try to clean them, I did it with my GLK before. Eventually, the rough idle just got so bad and smoke like crazy during cold start up. I did asked my mechanic what happen if you I choose to ignore the problem and continued with the leak injectors. He told me there are chance the the engine will get flooded and sized due to excessive amount of fuel. In addition, google OM642 black death, you will see it a common problem for our engine to have a leaky injectors. Did you find a mechanic to take a look at your vehicle yet ? Once you open up your engine, you should easily see if there are any carbon build up around the injectors. If there is, you better get that taken care soon than later before it ends up to black death OM642.
