Understood on staying away from the dealer. Another option is an indy shop.
If someone wants a 2014 ML, good luck. That is what I have insurance for! Hopefully, the dealer will get the ok and program out the system and I can get it back for a reasonable programming price.

Even though they spend time on doing the initial evaluation and had the car overnight, no charge for the initial diagnosis. Very surprised at that. They didn't think it was a major issue to fix specially if it is only a computer reload/update.

Agree with your assessment of the GLB. It is a cheapened vehicle. Cheapened is a word used intentionally. The GLB does not carry the same presence, admittedly in a smaller form factor, than the larger and older MB models.
A, CLA, GLA and GLB models are a cut below in terms of build quality, noise and vibration, materials and finishes.
