Hey All I do own ML 350 Bluetec w166 2014.

Searched the web and also checked here.
I have a dash message upon starting the vehicle : Service BT in 20 days. It started from 29 days and the countdown is going.

What’s BT? I thought blutec, bluetooth and so on
Never had an AdBlue car before - I know it pops a message to fill up the ad blue tank, but not sure how it’s worded.

Does any of you know what Service BT refers to?

i havent encountered or heard of the "service BT" message (doesnt mean it doesnt exist). did you check the service menu on the dash?
im wondering if its a glitch and it really just means "service b"
if you check the service menu on the dash it should tell you when the next scheduled service is, if it says B and the # of days is the same i would assume its just a glitch

 

@MILOSLAV - Are you sure it's not saying "Service B7 due in XX days?" There is no such thing as a "Service BT".

 

Yeah, I am. I’ll shot it but most probably in two days as I gave the suv to the Mrs for the weekend

 

British Telecom , don't bother with them , it stands for Bloody Terrible...

 

Let us know please - I've never seen or heard of that message.

I too, just received the same message on my 2013 550SL. No idea what it means.

I had this error, 2014 CLA 250, for a while. It read as if it's a battery error so after changing the battery and reseting the computer, still getting the error, called the dealer.
This is what I got: BT happens to be two different codes: B: Service B major service oil change, fluids, filters and T happens to also be a transmission service due. I hope they didn't rip me off and I hope this helps someone.
