2012 ML350 Bluetec

New Battery Recommendation

Hi Folks,

Looking for advice on which battery that you would recommend for a 2012 ML350 Bluetec. We still have the original battery and never had a problem however it’s Tim I change.

You can by the exact same battery with the OEM supplier manufacturer's name on it thru the road service contractor that MB uses. Lower battery and installation costs too. Same exact battery and spec AGM that MB uses, but the Dealership's is branded MB.

Any h8 agm will do. I buy the walmart platinum brand with 4 year warranty

Costco has the Energizer H8 AGM

you know Costco is great for warranty, and that battery even has a higher CCA rating than the OEM one. Almost half the price of what it will cost you at Mercedes for their battery.

T the time, I did. The car was about 2 months away from my extended warranty expiring, (Battery was on me $) But again, and mercedes repair indy can do this for you.

i dont know if @keman58 's 2012 is identical, but i can confirm no coding was required for my 2014. Also, i didnt lose any settings, which is odd because everywhere i have read and watched videos they advise to externally power the car to maintatin all your settings when replacing the main battery. I pulled both main and aux battery, so the car sat for a while with 0 power. Once i got the batteries back in the only thing i really lost was the trip mileage and mpg information, everything else was still there. Radio favourites, car settings and anything else i checked was retained.
