Water coming out of Trunk lid

First check the easier things: both perimeter seals, rear glass seal and rear wiper shaft seal.

Any luck finding the source of your leak?
Does the trunk lid have any drain holes that might be clogged? I have often been surprised by how many body parts on cars actually have holes/reliefs built into them for water to naturally flow out (bottom of doors, inside of sunroof rails, body at base of windshield). Be good to just check if this is potential option that's there. Obviously this is the sort of thing that gets no results on a google search.
I once had an entire roof's worth of freezing cold water dump down on my head and back as I braked to a stop the morning after a hard rain... That was when I learned that sunroofs have drain holes (that can clog), and when they get clogged the ENTIRE roof of your car turns into a jug collecting (gallons and gallons of cold) rain water. It was a real cold shower moment.

Hope that's helpful (now or later),
Joel
