Advice on purchasing 15 ML 350 4matic

I'm looking at a 2015 ML 350 4matic. It has 135k miles. It has a pretty good service history. Has the HK stereo, back up cam, push start, tow hitch, and some other stuff.
I can get it for 11k.
Anything to look for in particular? It doesn't have the air suspension which is good.
No CEL, or warnings. Plugs and rear diff were changed at 75k. Has Premium 1 and lighting pkg.
Thanks

2015 is a great year for the ML350, that is the good news!
Can you go into more detail for the service history?
Transmission fluid service?
Rear/front diffs and transfer case fluids serviced?
Last time spark plugs were changed?
Were front timing covers resealed?
And most importantly, what was the oil change interval? Every 10k or 7.5k or 5k miles and what oil was used and where was it done?

If you can negotiate down on price, it does seem a *little* high considering the mileage.

Hmmm well the oil changes dont start showing up on Carfax until about 40k. Doesn't mean they weren't done though.
I think I'll wait for a lower mileage one with a more detailed service history.
They battery locations are are ridiculous. And considering all the electrical issues I've had on my w211, I may reconsider all together. Im reading some horror stories about the keyless go issues on YouTube too. I'll keep searching I guess and hope to find a gem!
What are the most common issues besides the push start thing?
Thanks

Check for:

- transmission oil change --> if it hasn't been done, negotiate the price lower. This is ~$750 at the dealer.

- oil leaks at the front of the cylinder heads --> same as above. This is $750-$1000 at the dealer.

- oil in the cam position sensor connector and cam magnet connector. Tough call. If in the early stage, the leaking can be mitigated by cleaning, sacrificial pigtails and replacing sensors and magnets. In advanced stages the ECU can become contaminated with oil.

MB’s of all kinds.
The 2015 ML is the last year of the ML and one with N/A V6 and no airmatic are about as straight forward as you can get with a modern car. They are mostly basic with minimal tech. It’s a reliable truck if you change the fluids and filters. A inspection before purchase from a MB Shop or Dealer can save you in the long run. I see no reason why they can’t go over 300,000 miles without a major issue. People with little car knowledge can work on them and DIY. The interior is basic. The drive is boring. It’s just straight forward with no real frills or thrills.

Thanks everyone! Yeah I'm looking for ride quality, and space. That's really it. Oh and N/A. Being a 4matic just a little worried about the price of control arms, ball joints, etc.. Suspension issue time when you start to bleed out.

Adding to the above: lighting package is a must.

If you drive through dark areas, the Halogen lighting is poor. The Bixenon package is waiting for.

Does the lighting package include the xenon bulbs AND that amber LED strip in the lense? I've seen some that says it has the lighting package but that strip is not there?

Yeah the lighting package has the amber LED strip with bi-xenon projectors. Halogen projectors do not have the amber LED strip. I had a 2013 ML350 with halogens and I fitted an LED bulb in there which greatly increased light output and worked very well with the halogen projectors, but now my 2015 has the lighting package and I am so glad I have that now and that I waited to find an ML with it!

Ride quality on my ML I find to be OK. It drives like a truck. So it’s not S Class smooth but not G Wagon harsh. Space is fine but there are better SUV’s for space. I think the ML is the most in the size majority of people need. A PPi will inspect the suspension and FCP Euro carries all the parts.
