I started from scratch and just finished the first tuning session with Jerry @ Eurocharged this weekend @ Autoscope in Dallas. I have a bad coilpack and we didn't get too far with the tuning but @ 17psi the car made 808rwhp and 1327ftlbs of torque on 93 octane only pulling to 4600rpm's. I will push the car as far as the injectors will allow during the next dyno session, and I have a feeling we will not need race fuel to max the injectors out. I believe I will make 900+ rwhp and almost 1500ft lbs of torque if the dyno can hold the power.
This car has the power to easily accomplish my goal of running 9 second 1/4 mile times and with any luck will perhaps break the 9.5 second barrier.
can't wait to see her run!

Awesome job!

Very cool to see what you have done, it obvious you have alot of thought and sweat invested, great way to think outside the box, impliment you own ideas and take it to a whole new level. What's your plan for the drivetrain specifically rear and axles? You may want to check with Peterbuilt to see what your options are. (hahaha) Have you installed the new coil packs yet? Let us know what its like to drive, videos for those with little imagination, Hey lots of luck as the race for 9's continues!!!

Good luck with your built. But if would you use all of this Power often e.g. on our German Autobahn, the car won't drive long without running into problems with Engine and Transmission...

I have quite a good contact to one if not the best MB-Tuner in Germany, who tuned my SL600... He has "inside-information" of MB-and AMG Engine-Development, and he knows the limits for M275 Engine and Transmission very well.

You are absolutely correct. Road racing and drag racing are two completely different animals. As it stands I doubt the tranny will last more than a few passes at the track. I am already ordering the parts to upgrade the tranny and install two additional clutches in 1-2, & 2-3. And a few other things.

If I have too many issues with the rearend and halfahafts I will install a 9" rearend.

To make that kind of power, was the major mod the billet turbos?
I am just curious what leapfrogged you from about 600hp with a tuned S600 to 808HP & 1300FT-LBS of torque.

Have you removed your primary cats?
Thanks...

Amazing gains....I am excited to see a video of your car in the 1/4.

The majority of the increase in power is the manifold size and design. The larger, far more effiecent turbo's helped a lot too. I do not have cats on this car or my S600.

Dynodaddy what are you doing to keep you V12TT running cool as it loves ?

- What Heat Exchanger set up, did you keep the stock unit and add to it or ?

- What Heat Exchanger pump ?

- Are you running a extra tank, if so what size and where ?

- Who made your intercoolers ?

- Anything else you have done to keep it cool ?

I have a 5 gallon fuel cell in the trunk with a 120LPH electric engine water pump sending water through 1" lines all the way to the heat exchanger in the front of the car. I am running roughly a small radiator for the heat exchanger 14" X 24" X 1.25" thick (-16an in and out) to a -16an X (2) -12an "Y". This splits one -12an to each intercooler, through the intercooler, then "Y" back into a -16an hose back to the reservoir in the truck.

After talking to Bell intercooler about my power needs they reccomended these cores along with a certain GPM flow rate to keep them operating at optimum efficency. I then took the raw cores and welded the tanks and endcaps on the unit. On air to water units you have to be careful on your water inlet and outlet to make sure that you do not have a place for air pockets to form or you will have a hot spot in the intercooler.
