2005 Mercedes CL600 Gearing Questions
When I do dig runs or pulls, the car goes from 1st gear to 3rd gear and completely skips 2ed Gear.
Is that normal? every time I launch it happens.

Sounds unlikely.
You sure you're not just starting off in second?
Which mode do you set your transmission - S or C?
Do you leave it in auto, or select the gears "manually"?
Do you use kickdown?

I'm positive I'm starting off in 1st gear or at least mostly sure. I use S and the gear select mode into 1st. When I launch the car it would not change gears until 5700 RPM and then the gear selector would say 3rd gear.
