Engine mounts and Engine Troque Strap
Anyone every thought about adding an engine torque strap to reduce stress on mounts....I haven't looked for a spot to mount have seen some mounted to strut towers
Thoughts....space is a challenge in the engine bay

I wouldn't attempt anything like that.
Only engine mount mod I considered was cutting the heat shield to provide a cooling slot that lined-up with the outlet of the cooling duct.

I think it would help the lifespan tremendously; however not seeing a clear path to an anchor point from the top.....the range of motion under load places a lot of strain on the mounts....

The OEM mounts have a strap around them actually. Only seen that on high end AMG cars and the V12s, I don't know how much it would help strapping them down, as they compress with age, and then the added flex lets the rubber break.

I guess part of the Speedriven upgrade is less slop in the mount....the strap on the mount is in case of a break...these reduce/eliminate flex

Poly mounts would be cool, this car is very smooth running, there wouldn't be a ton of vibrations, and the positive power transfer would be nice. It would also reduce the shifting of the powertrain during aggressive movements, that big engine is very heavy and it can move around quite a bit on the soft stock parts.
