Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 2019 - 2024
Description:

Up for sale is an Akrapovic exhaust system for the G63. An amazing sounding exhaust system that I paired with a 200 cell catted downpipe. Also sounds great with stock downpipes, plenty loud and definitely has a throaty sound but can be quiet when activating the sound kit. I can send sound clips if requested.

I’m looking to get rid of it due to trading in the vehicle. If you are a serious buyer I will get the exhaust removed. Exhaust has only 2,000 miles on it and is in perfect condition with no damage. Exhaust was professionally installed by a certified MB mechanic.

Looking to sell for $9,500 preferably meetup in Southern California.

Is this the titanium system? Can you hook up exhaust valves to the stock valves button in middle console or only via that little remote?

Yes, full titanium exhaust. It’s designed to be hooked up to the factory exhaust button in the car. Having the sound kit allows you to 100% fully open the exhaust even if in comfort mode. If you don’t have the sound kit installed the exhaust can only be fully opened in Sport +

In the car now (2024 G36), when I'm in comfort mode and exhaust button is set to on glowing red, are the valves not fully open? Sorry if stupid question, just got the car.

no worries I was a little confused about this when I first got the car as well. When the exhaust button is red, the valves are open, but the valves don’t fully open 100% until past 4000 RPM. There are modifications like Renntech’s Exhaust Valve Module that will keep the valves 100% open with the exhaust button on and without going over 4000 RPM. The sound kit from Akrapovic basically keeps it 100% open when you press the button.

For the stock AMG exhaust, you don’t really notice a huge difference. But with the Akrapovic exhaust it’s a very noticeable difference and I find myself keeping the exhaust closed in Comfort mode and only using the exhaust open in Sport + which it opens anyways. If I’m in Sport + and I see a cop nearby I just press the factory exhaust button in the middle to quiet it down and then turn it back on when he leaves lol.

Awesome thanks for the reply. I totally understand your logic with the buttons. This stock exhaust sounds best in the low RPM range when you can hear the true bass of the system. It explains why when you floor it on S+ it sounds awesome right away and then it’s just noise after 4K rpm.

I agree, stock exhaust sounds great at low speeds. That’s the reason I got the Akrapovic cause it sounds good at all RPM ranges especially when it’s above 4k rpm. And the downshifts sound 1000x times better

Do you have original box/purchase receipt/warranty with serial number?
