ricky this **** is crazy, thats the 2nd lorinser ive bent this month. this one i was on the highway (bqe for the ny guys about to go into the brooklyn battery tunnel) going like 45 and theres was this huge crater of a pothole in my lane with a barrier on one side of me and a car on the other side. i saw it and slowed from like 55-60 but i was forced to hit it. these huge potholes sprout out of no where, but this one may be a result of all the rain we just recently had - it rained, no it down poured for 8 days straight and we got over 13 inches

well truthfully now i dont know if i can take it anymore with these wheels. the car is sitting out front and im waiting for roadside assistance to come and im gonna have them take all the lorinsers off and just put the stocks on. i was going to do it closer to the winter but *** it. its too dark now to see how bad the damage really is but i think this maybe the end of me and lorinser, they are just too damn soft for the roads up here.

yeah ive always wanted hres so ill prob go that route but honestly after these incidents with the lorinsers it makes me not even really want to get aftermarket joints. on the other hand maybe its just that the lorinsers are super soft? how are hre's?

I have some 840's somewhere here on a R230 that goes to Austin and back everyweek, and that's been fine.

I haven't heard anything about HRE's going back to the factory unless to fix an air leak or some sort like that.

Mercedes all the way!
strange how the lorinsers take over the discussion :p

that maybach is nice! i personally don't like the shiny wheels treatment, but hell, i'll take it anyway those who say the maybach is tasteless should see it in person - except for the front end i love it.

damn thats sucks about your rims. thats why we drive my bros POS celica in brooklyn cause I cant remember a day I didnt hit a pot hole. Nice pics of the maybach on the west side highway. I saw one a few weeks ago at MB on Park Ave, some big time CEO came by with it to talk to the manager or something. They also had the 57 on display but it was locked.

bklynbenz i was wondering if your dealership is the one off exit 5 on the belt. I passed by it this morning, its the only one I know of in bklyn.

NYC is really messed up. I live in Queens and when I go thru the BQE, I am watching the road lterally even with my stock wheels. Still deciding if I should get aftermarket wheels.

Lorinser wheels are junk.

I think they are made of pot metal. Just about every car I've ever serviced with Lorinsers has had at least 1 bent up just like yours.

haha, dont quite think it's p. diddy

A good high school friend of mine is p. diddy's entertainment lawyer and has been since the early 90's, back when p. diddy was only sean combs. One good story is a couple of years ago when my friend had a fight with his girlfriend, p. diddy happened to be at his fathers house and drove him to his girlfriend in his Bentley to have them work things out... not sure if he still has the bentley but I hear he is a big S.U.V. (Denali, etc) fan..back on topic...

I must have seen this same maybach on two different occasions...both three-four weeks ago on the L.I.E. headed east from NYC... the rear license plate frame says "ROSLYN POWER" don't know of any Roslyn, Long Island dealear called "power" would have thought at the very least it was sold at rallye.

As for the passenger...could be anyone...but seeing its a possbile Long Island Resident either some big name like Charles ****, or more celebrity wise such as J. LO & Marc Anthony, or Billy Joel?? sure wish i knew who it was

When I bought my car at rallye last year I asked who came in and took the Maybach's outta the showroom, he told me Russell Simons just got one, along with Mariah Carey who was unhappy about the rear mirror size (i believe), none the less he told me both of theirs were later replaced due to some issue...

I am guessing the plate comes back to a car service, and the passengers are the Olsen Twins.

Charlie ****'s 62 is silver.

Yeah I know EXACTLY what you mean, I swear it felt like I lost my suspension on some of these roads. Especially the BQE as you get on the Grand Central.
