Maybach beats Rolls

I think that's wonderful! I'm a Maybach fan all the way and will always vote it #1 before Rolls-Royce. There's just something about that new Rolls-Royce that makes me want to vomit. I think it is way too plain, bland, and it doesn't has a very good angle. Noticing that Roll-Royce(BMW) is wanting to sell 1,000 units a year makes it impossible if that margin with those who voted is true for all over the world. They'll be lucky if they sell 300 or 400 units a year and that's "if they're lucky." Just my 2 cents!

I'm pretty sure someone on a rolls royce board said something similair to what you said about the RR.. cept doubting the Maybach. There are people that buy these cars, but like you said, i dont expect the 1000 limit to be reached this year. I'd give it a year and a half.. or even three years. Maybach's though will fly out of the lots because its higher then the S-Class.. yet it still keeps a tad bit of that "driver" car feeling with the engine!
What am i talking about, if i wanted a drivers car i'd get a BMW!

While i am biased towards mb products, i gotta ask if you guys have seen the new Rolls, while i do think mick jagger in the morning would look better , u gotta love those suicide doors though

RR is a tough sell it has so much prestige to its name just like a Jaguar but the both brands still do EXTREMELY badly. I have never had a love for either brand. I do infact think Jaguars are right down there with Alfa Romeos (thats a bangled butt if ever I saw one) but most people see them as prestigious brands.....

IMO, the RR looks so rugged and outdated on the interior. I mean, damn, this 2003 and we got a bus steering wheel!!!???? The RR silver seraph looks so elegant, but the Phantom is so out there. It looks like a dog on semi-truck wheels. This brand has officially been ruined...thanks BMW. :-(
The maybach looks so much more like a practical car. Even though I hate that name..."My Bahk"(phenetic spelling). So many people think that it's pronounced May-bahc.
